I'm not a doctor, this is just what worked for me. This is my ‘truth’ of weight loss. I’m still shocked at how effective my plan really is!

I know it works by looking in the mirror and checking on the scale. I lost 51.7 pounds in 74 days. I had to buy new clothes because old clothing was all TOO BIG!

My plan worked and people noticed. People commented on how much weight I’d lost.

By the time I'd lost 35 pounds, family, friends, and co-workers wanted to know how I did it! They wanted to know the secret!

That is how this short guide was born. I wrote up my plan and showed them.

And now I'm making my guide available to you - my simple formula, useful tips and the easy to follow plan.

It was after I read about another scientific study that revealed that being overweight is very bad for health.

Every time I read something like that I would promise myself that I'm going to lose weight, but I failed miserably and completely. However, this time I made a decision that I must do something about it.

You see, pride is very important to me. I do not like when people see me in bad light.

So I thought: "Maybe I can use my pride to help me get rid of extra pounds." I made a list of all people that I want to respect me. Next, I bought 20 or so postcards and wrote on them: "I promise you that I will lose weight."

Within one week, I gave or sent the postcards to the people on my list - dad, mom, brother, my boss, the best friend, five other friends and my neighbors. The only person I did not give the postcard was my boyfriend.

I was mad about him and I really wanted him to respect me. I knew that I would die of shame if I broke my promise.

But one day, I came to his house, gave him the postcard and left without a word.

Losing weight was the hardest thing I did in my life. Many times I was on the brink of breaking my promise. But every time this happened, I would remember the people on my list and how I would lose their respect for me.

Why am I telling you this?

Because one of the most important reasons why people fail to lose weight is the lack of motivation. Wanting to lose weight or wanting to look good is often not enough for most people to stick to a weight loss program or diet.

In other words, the stronger your motivation, the better your results!

Once armed with strong motivation, it was easy for me to shed extra pounds.

So what weight loss program I used ... well, I did not use any of popular diets.

My plan was simple. It included three steps:

1. Eating half of everything I usually eat. For example, instead of six bread slices I ate three; instead of four eggs I ate two, etc. No food supplements or calorie counting. I was able to follow this step thanks to BeSLIM patches (see below).

2. Exercising 30 minutes a day, seven days a week. I did not go to a gym. I just included simple and enjoyable activities such as brisk walking, swimming, playing basketball with friends, etc. The trick is to find an activity (or a few of them) that you really enjoy and then give your best in doing that activity.
