There is a phenomenon that many people know about – as soon as you begin using a skin cream, you must continue with it. If you stop lubricating, your skin becomes drier than when you started.
There is a new study, conducted by Izabela Buraczewska, that confirms this fact.
Izabela found out that creams can make your skin drier!
Her research also showed that differences in the pH of creams do not seem to play any role.
During a seven-week treatment period, she also studied different oils – no difference was established between mineral oil and a vegetable oil.
Buraczewska discovered that some compound creams actually weaken the skin’s protective barrier.
With this important information, cosmetics manufacturers will be more wary of what ingredients to put in skin creams.
