This technology is approved by the Food and Drug Administration. According to experts, it is potentially one of the last decade’s biggest advancements in the laser world.
With the fractional laser you get surface and deeper skin changes as well as heat that’s deposited into the skin resulting in improvement in wrinkles and skin tightening.
It can be used on a range of conditions, including wrinkle removal, acne scarring, and alleviating dark pigmentation.
The new laser treatment is office-based procedure done on an out-patient basis. Recovery time is between 3 and 5 days.
Procedure is typically considered cosmetic and costs from $500 to $3,000.
