Every beauty-conscious woman (and man) wants to know what the best anti wrinkle cream is? Now we have the answer.
The No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum is the first anti aging product to be given the thumbs up by scientists.
British scientists at The University of Manchester carried out a clinical trial on 60 volunteers with typical signs of sun-damaged skin.
It was found that the cream, made by Boots, could help to reduce the most common signs of aging.
The study found that 70% of people who used the cream for 12 months had significantly fewer wrinkles compared with volunteers using a placebo.
It means seven out of ten women and men had significantly improved lines on their skin. Not only did their faces have fewer lines, but their wrinkles were also shallower.
The No 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum worked equally well across all the age groups tested, which ranged from people in their forties to those in their eighties.
However, the cream did not improve the appearance of age spots.
This face cream has previously been called Refine and Rewind, but has now been rebranded as part of the Protect and Perfect range.
The study was published online by the British Journal of Dermatology.
