Soaps for Oily and Dry Skin
A lot of people are using soaps that don’t work with their skin chemistry. This way they are stripping their skin of valuable moisture and causing some serious skin problems.
When you use the right products, your skin will be happy right now and in the future.
A soap for oily skin should include salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Both add-ins can be found in different percentages; if your skin is sensitive, use a low level - 0.5% to 1% in salicylic acid or 5% in bezoyl peroxide.
A soap for dry skin should be a mild “superfatted” soap which includes moisturizing ingredients such as shea butter, glycerin, and vitamin E.
If you have sensitive skin choose something marked “hypoallergenic” and something that’s fragrance-free.
Wash your face twice a day (morning and night), without too much excessive rubbing or sloughing. Rinse twice with lukewarm water.
