There are many skincare treatments available but most of them do not work.
Here are three of them that many dermatologists agree are good.
- Exfoliation which removes the dead skin cells. Over time, the layer of dead cells thickens. When you get rid of it, your skin appears smoother and brighter.
- Microdermabrasion is another method that gently removes the dead-cell layer. The procedure is not very painful and requires no anaesthetic. Multiple professional microdermabrasion methods exist: crystal, diamond and home microdermabrasion.
- Glycolic peels also take away thick layer of dead skin. For best results it is recommended that glycolic peels are performed weekly for six weeks. They also reduce fine lines, lighten dark sunspots, improve acne and soften skin.
