Did you hear about skin rejuvenation bed? It is similar to a tanning bed, but it does not use ultraviolet light. It utilizes infrared light. This LED light doesn’t tan your skin. Allegedly, it rejuvenates by increasing collagen growth.
The manufacturers of skin rejuvenation beds claim that they can also trigger repair mechanisms and increase fibroblast cells.
Some people report very good results with this equipment. They witnessed a dramatic difference in fine lines, the crow’s feet and the deep-set wrinkles. Some say that dark sun-damaged spots have disappeared after using the bed.
However, doctors are not so impressed. They point out that there is no clinical studies that can confirm any benefit for this treatment. According to them, you can expect only very small amounts of improvement.
If you want to try it for yourself, you will need to pay about $20 a session. To see any results, you need to do it three times a week for 4 to 6 months.
