How to Treat Large Pores

Large pores are a concern for many women. They try different solutions to make them smaller. They try concealers and foundations to cover them. Results are not so good.

What causes large pores?

In most cases, there are two main contributors to having large pores: genetics and age. People with  oily or thicker skin have a propensity to have enlarged pores. In addition, sun damage and a decrease in the skin’s elasticity as you get older, also causes pores to increase in size.

Pores are very important to your skin’s health. They deliver oil that hydrate your skin. In most cases, people with large pores have an oily skin type.

However, this is good thing later in life – the pore’s natural moisture will help the skin age better by delaying or minimizing the wrinkling that takes place.

Sorry to say, but there isn’t a product that can lastingly reduce or shrink pore size. The good news is that there are a few products that can help make your pores less visible.

Women report very good results with Dr. Brandt Pore Effect. You should definitely try it.

Some additional tips and instructions on how to treat large pores:

- Cleanse your face well because debris can cause pore blockage and make them appear larger.
- Exfoliate regularly to remove dead cells which can block pores.
- Before you apply makeup, you need to use a foundation primer.
