This natural pimple remover is extremely good, according to researchers! They have found that an active ingredient from brown seaweed can effectively remove acne spots.
Seaweed extract makes pimples less visible and more manageable by regulating oil production, removing bacteria, and reducing redness.
Professor Enzo Berardesca, a director at the Instituto Dermatolgico San Gallicano, Italy said, “Patients with mild to moderate acne, such as blackheads, whiteheads, and skin redness, found their symptoms markedly reduced.”
Researchers conducted a study enrolling 60 males aged 12 to 24 years suffering from mild acne. After two weeks, visible results were obvious.
The males using products with the seaweed extract showed a huge improvement in their acne condition compared to those using a dummy face wash, gel, or scrub.
The active ingredients found in brown seaweeds are also good for dandruff removal.
