Here are some detox diets and the celebrities who do them.

- Oprah Winfrey is currently on Kathy Frenton’s 21 Day Cleanse. She must avoid all animal products, gluten, caffeine, sugar, and alcohol for 21 days. However, doctors say that excluding major food groups is bad thing to do.

-  Gwyneth Paltrow does Dr. Joshi’s Holistic Diet. She needs to avoid acidic, toxic, and refined foods in order to make the body’s pH balance alkaline. Side effects can include headaches, stomach pains, nausea and fatigue.

- Beyoncé did the Master Cleanse. She lived on water mixed with lemon, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. However, profound diarrhea and nausea can happen.

- Robin Quivers is on the Martha’s Vineyard Detox Diet. It promises to shed 21 pounds in 21 days by drinking juices and having, multiple regular colonics.

    Great list! First Magazine reported that Jessica Simpson turns to SoCal Cleanse Detox Formula when she wants to trim down.

    The Master Cleanse is so terrible for you and. You lose weight because you’re not eating! And drinking juices and having multiple regular colonics isn’t a great idea either. Detoxing is such a wonderful idea when it’s done in a healthy way that doesn’t deplete your body of the necessities it needs to function properly.
